Dr. Essam Dabbour is a traffic safety expert and a recognized authority in evaluating roadway design, maintenance, and engineering aspects related to traffic collisions, municipal liability, and other personal-injury cases. 


As a registered professional engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, Dr. Dabbour’s credentials enhance his role as a traffic safety expert witness. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and holds certifications as a Road Safety Professional (RSP1) and Road Safety Auditor.


Dr. Dabbour earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering and brings over 35 years of experience in the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of various road facilities. 


To date, he has investigated more than 600 forensic engineering cases concerning traffic collisions, slip-and-fall incidents, trip-and-fall incidents, and issues related to occupiers' liability.
